Main Street Station Casino Buffet Prices

  1. Checking out the Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station Casino! It was pretty good lol. We visited during the Christmas season, hence the huge Christmas.
  2. MAIN STREET STATION 200 N. Ph: 702-387-1896 The Garden Court Buffet Breakfast, 7 to 10:30 a.m. Mon.-Fri., $5.29 Lunch, 11 a.m. Mon.-Fri., $7.49.

Sunset Station is not a Strip casino. Free parking, not real rowdy, and it seems the odds are better in the casino. The Feast Buffet is probably still running prices from the 90's. Granted, there are some of the high-end item missing but not in. The deserts, The food was very good but seafood was a bit sparse. There was a carving station.

Hours and Prices of the Palace Station Buffet: scroll down. A great option if you don't mind the distance from the Vegas Strip and want a bargain-basement deal for a Vegas buffet meal but… we recommend you read our detailed review (accompanied by a video! Palace Station's all-you-can-eat is close enough to the Strip (but definitely not walking distance!) to make it an option if budget is an issue and if you stay in the area, although they do offer a shuttle service (see bottom of this page); however, there are arguably better affordable buffets in Vegas these days (more about those further down the page). In the past they use to advertise buffet coupons on the local newspapers, which allowed people to eat here for one dollar! However, their policy seems to have changed recently, and have copied the Boyd Gaming Buffets policy, namely that of offering very affordable basic prices, further reduced if you sign up to their players card.

But what is it like?

A mix between Subway, McDonalds and an ultra budget restaurant, with much more variety thus, for the price, a good deal. If you like fast foods, you will be happy enough here because you can eat a lot of it for the very low fixed price. If you prefer different choices yet want to spend very little, go to affordable & beautiful Red Rock buffet or the Palms buffet (read our dedicated pages on those 2 buffets for details and updates), both off Strip. Of course, for a bit more Studio B is THE best affordable mid-week buffet by any standards (lunch in particular).

Now, back to the affordable Palace Station buffet. One of the popular options here is the made-to-order burger. The burger meat is cooked for you in the same way any fast-food outlet will cook it (it's also the same type, so if you expect gourmet meat, the safest ‘bet' is to go to the top 10 buffets in Vegas, not all of them expensive); you will have a choice of processed cheese and all the other garments you would expect from any run-of-the-mill fast-food burger joint. What we liked about this option is that we could at least add healthy garments from the salad section. If you like fast food burgers you will love this burger and the healthy option garments are always a welcome bonus

Pizza: it's the high-doe type so we avoid it, but if you're not fussy you'll love the high amount of processed cheese generously layered.

Carving station: yes, there's also a carving station so meat lovers can continue to feast on meat! Hot dogs and sausages are also available here.

Pasta: run-of-the-mill pasta selection with mountains of macaroni and cheese.

You can also find cooked fish (which is a welcome option for non-meat eaters) as well as the ubiquitous Mexican and Chinese stations.

A pleasant surprise here is the presence of a budget yet decent salad station with enough variety to satisfy someone who is at least trying to eat some healthy options! Of course, nothing like a salad at the huge Studio B.

The dessert section is varied and decent enough for the very low prices. No gelato of course but you will find all the budget dessert options you can expect (including a self-serve ice-cream machine).

All in all, if you consider the very low prices, this ultra affordable all-you-can-eat is a good choice if quantity and a very low budget are a must for you, provided you are in the area and cannot go elsewhere; otherwise, the Red Rock buffet (Red Rock is part of the same group as Palace Station, so you can use the same players card and obtain further discounts) is more elegant alternative with good variety of dishes (although their quality fluctuates somewhat); Palms' is another great alternative (we go into detail on our page on the Palms Vegas buffet.

There are other budget buffet options such as downtown Buffets (not so great lately) as well as the Silverton buffet, the Gold Coast Buffet, South Point, Orleans Buffet (we encourage you to read our reviews by clicking the underlined titles).

We have a video of the Palace Station buffet, just go to our Vegas ‘Real' Videos section. 12 slot mail sorter box.

Some ask: why eat at Vegas buffets when there are really cheap ways to eat a mountain of food in Vegas? Because all-you-can eats, especially in ‘Sin City', are a great option given the exceptional variety and – to some extent (depending on where you eat) quality of what you can eat for the fixed price.

Gold Coast Buffet Review. Off-Strip but close and well connected to the Strip; very basic and very cheap! It has improved a little but this year but… Is it the buffet for you despite the very low price? Read the important tip further down!

Here I'll talk about one of such places (but with a surprise in the end), the Gold Coast hotel and casino. It is undoubtedly one of the cheapest places you can go to for a very cheap buffet; this is especially the case if you sign up to their players card (it does not cost anything and you can do it on the post by going to casino marketing, just a few steps away from the buffet entrance). Locals often have further ‘perks' and, in the end, they can easily eat for a couple of dollars!

But, if you are not a local, you can still eat here for a handful of change. Will you enjoy it and will forever be thankful for these extraordinary Las Vegas value-for-money deals? Let's see.

If you are from some part of (expensive) Canada or Europe (or even South America!) for example, you'll be wondering if you entered an eating Mecca when you enter Las Vegas, just because you will not believe the low prices and the fantastic value for money. So for you this cheaper Vegas buffet will be like ordering a cup of coffee in Vancouver, for example. But, even if you are from the United States, the Gold Coast Vegas buffet has some ‘aces up your sleeve'.

Gold Coast Buffet Review. It used to be a favorite of local seniors with the forever favourites, such as good pea soup, basic clam chowder soup and a 3rd or even 4th soup (it changes), together with the quintessential pasta (which does not taste anything like real Italian pasta) and pizza (the quality – or lack thereof – varies according to who's making it), Mexican and Chinese sections.

Nowadays I hardly see seniors and I'd say the target market is whomever has a free comp (which are given away easily and generously – it's almost impossible having to pay for this buffet). Some locals for sure.

They have improved somewhat with offerings (on a good day) like tuna melt sandwich and decent Sushi (better than at other cheap buffets without a doubt). The salad bar is getting marginally better, with some artichokes (on a good day) and olives; bring your own olive oil if you care, we do!… Talking about salads, a few months ago they added, next to a new, tiny deli section, a ready-made bowl of Caesars salad, which was nice enough and better than the very low-end salad bar they usually offer; however, during our last 2 visits, these changes were no longer present and – in fact – the food was overall worse than usual (in our opinion). Families and visitors of course do come, mainly enticed by the very low prices of this Vegas buffet and, above all, by the many ‘free buffet' promotions they receive (designed to entice customers to their casino); we often ask around (we want to make sure it's not just us being ‘fussy') and nobody has told us they really like this buffet. The dessert section is also average for Vegas buffets in this price range (everything tastes as if it was purchased at a cheap store). However, on our last trip they had added gelato (!) and 2 more options at the soft-self-serve ice-cream section (such as coconut). So, on a ‘good day' (namely when whoever serves or heats up the dishes actually remembers it's a restaurant and not an industrial assembly line), you can walk out satisfied. But with the Palms buffet across the road, unless it's free there is still no reason to eat here, I think.

At dinner they have 3 types of decent-tasting sushi (but basic, most likely pre-bought) and – thankfully – a made-to-order Mongolian grill section with a good teriyaky sauce. Sometimes we only eat those 2 items.

Gold Coast Buffet Review Summary and Hot Tip. In brief, if you like good food, well prepared and cooked food, this is NOT the Vegas buffet for you. On a good day you will feel happy you ate here rather than at a junk food joint for the same price, but on a bad day you will struggle to find something to eat. Unfortunately there is still no consistency. But if you want a cheap buffet, a quick meal to fill your belly, this is a place you could visit, although it's now been superseded by the much better Palms buffet at a similarly fantastic price. Palms is across the road and – for a similar price – it offers much, much better food; when we don't have to review anything, we go to Palms to eat.
